A little bit of research shows that it was started by IIT-D passouts and is a Banglore based start up. Also they received 7 million dollars from Sequoia Capital India, this is the same company that funded Google during its early stages.
Lets see how it goes.

Google wasn't always rich you know. They need Venture Capitalists to fund their project.
